Power Steering Control Module Replacement

If the steering column power steering control module needs to be is replaced, the power steering control module needs to be programmed with the following procedures:

1. Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
2. With the Power Steering Assist Motor replaced and reconnected, on the SPS Supported Controllers Screen, select K43 Power Steering Control Module - Programming and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF. It may take up to 2 minutes for all vehicle systems to power down.
4. Ignition ON.
5. On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select K43 Power Steering Control Module - Setup and follow the on-screen instructions.
6. Clear DTCs.
