Carburetor Switch Test
- Grounding the carburetor switch eliminates all spark advance. Turn key off and disconnect 10-wire harness connector from computer. With throttle completely closed, check continuity between terminal 7 and a good ground. If no continuity is indicated, check wire and carburetor switch. Recheck basic timing.
- With throttle opened, check continuity between terminal 7 and a good ground. There should be no continuity.
