Oxygen Sensor

Located in the exhaust manifold, this sensor informs the computer of the amount of oxygen present in exhaust gases. The amount is proportional to the rich and lean mixtures. The computer adjusts air/fuel ratio so that it will maintain operating efficiency of the 3-way catalyst system and the engine.
