Fuel Supply

An electric fuel pump is located in the fuel tank as an integral part of fuel gauge sending unit. This pump supplies fuel at 36 psi (2.5 kg/cm² ) to throttle body assembly. Power to fuel pump is supplied by power module via Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay. Power module is supplied with an operating signal from distributor. If this signal is not received, ASD relay is not activated and power to fuel pump is cut off.
