Basic Timing
- Connect timing light to engine so that timing can be checked. Connect a jumper wire between carburetor switch and a good ground. See note.
- Be sure vacuum line is disconnected to vacuum transducer on computer. Observe timing mark and adjust timing as indicated on vehicle emission control label.
