Carburetor Switch
NOTE:
Grounding the carburetor switch eliminates all spark advance.
- Turn ignition key off and disconnect 10-wire harness connector from computer. With throttle completely closed, check continuity between terminal 7 of harness connector and a good ground. If no continuity is indicated, check wire and carburetor switch.
- Recheck basic timing. With throttle opened, check continuity between terminal 7 of harness connector and a good ground. There should be no continuity. If continuity exists, replace carburetor switch.
