Cold Dr12G - Speed Sensor Control
- With tachometer connected and engine running, connect voltmeter to Light Green wire of speed sensor connector and ground. Raise engine speed greater than 2500 RPM and then quickly return to idle.
- Voltmeter should read within one volt of battery voltage while engine speed returns to idle. If voltage is okay, replace air switching control solenoid.
- If zero volt was indicated, check speed sensor wire to ignition coil (Neg.) terminal for an open circuit. If okay, replace speed switch.
