Throttle Body

Throttle body is mounted on intake manifold, in same position as a conventional carburetor. It houses fuel injector, pressure regulator, throttle position sensor, and automatic idle speed motor. Air flow control is via a throttle blade in base of throttle body. Throttle body chamber provides for metering, atomization and distribution of fuel into incoming air stream.
