Power Module
The power module contains necessary circuitry to power the ignition coil and fuel injectors. The automatic shutdown (ASD) relay is energized by the power module to activate the fuel pump, ignition coil and power module itself.
This computer also receives distributor signals. If no distributor signal is received by the computer, the ASD relay is not activated and power to the fuel pump and ignition coil is cut. The power module contains a voltage converter which reduces battery voltage to a constant 8 volt output to power the logic module and distributor.
