Automatic Idle Speed Motor: Removal

  1. Disconnect battery ground. Disconnect 6-way throttle body connector. Remove 2 screws that mount AIS to adapter. DO NOT  remove the clamp on the AIS or damage will result.
  2. Remove wiring clips and remove 2 AIS wires from the 6-way throttle body connector. Lift each locking tab with a small screwdriver and remove each blade terminal. Lift AIS from its adapter. Remove "O" rings carefully.
