Removal & Installation: Injector: Removal

  1. Release fuel system pressure. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove 4 Torx screws attaching fuel inlet chamber to throttle body. Remove vacuum tube from pressure regulator to throttle body.
  2. Lift fuel inlet chamber and injector off throttle body. Pull injector from fuel inlet chamber. Remove upper and lower "O" rings from injector. Remove injector snap ring, seal, and washer.
