Removal & Installation: Precautions

Before removing any fuel system components, displayed system pressure must be relieved.
It is not necessary to remove throttle body from intake manifold to remove components.
If fuel hoses are to be replaced, only hose marked EFI/EFM may be used. DO NOT use aviation style hose clamps as hose damage will occur.
Always reassemble throttle body components with new "O" rings and seals where applicable. NEVER use lubricants on "O" rings or seals. If component assembly is difficult, use water to aid assembly.
