Fuel Injector
Fuel injector is electronic solenoid which is receives voltage from power module but is controlled by logic module. Logic module determines when and for how long injector should be energized by power module. While electrical current is supplied to injector, spring loaded check ball is lifted from seat. Fuel then flows through six spray orifices. Fuel deflecting off sharp edge of injector nozzle forms 45° cone shaped spray pattern before entering air stream. See Fig 1 . Fuel is supplied to injectors at constant 14.5 psi (1.0 kg cm2 ).
