Removal & Installation

  1. Remove air cleaner. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  in this article. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect vacuum hoses and electrical connectors.
  2. Remove throttle cable. Remove speed control and transmission kickdown cable (if equipped). Disconnect fuel supply and return hoses. Remove throttle body mounting screws. Remove throttle body. To install, reverse removal procedure. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  in this article.
