TEST 5B - Courtesy Light System
NOTE:
For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagrams, see appropriate chassis wiring diagram in the WIRING DIAGRAMS Section.
- Remove and inspect inoperative courtesy light bulb. If bulb is bad, replace bulb. Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 . If bulb is okay, put DRB-II in voltmeter mode.CAUTION: DO NOT allow DRB-II to touch any metal ground in following step.
- Probe both bulb contacts of inoperative bulb socket. If voltage at one contact in bulb socket is more than 10 volts, repair open Yellow wire to bulb socket. Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 . If voltage is less than 10 volts at both contacts in bulb socket, repair open Pink wire at bulb contact. Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .
