Test 44A - Headlight Out

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  at end of article.
  1. Turn headlights on. Ensure headlight dimmer switch is set to low beam. Start engine and check headlights. If both headlights are out with Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) displaying HEADLAMP OUT, go to TEST 45A  .
  2. If both headlights are on, go to TEST 46A  . If only right low beam headlight is out, go to TEST 44B. If only left low beam headlight is out, go to TEST 44C  .
