Test 46A - Faulty Headlamp Out Message
NOTE:

- Turn ignition off. Disconnect light outage module 5-pin connector. See Figure . Start engine. If Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) does not display HEADLAMP OUT, replace light outage module. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If EVIC displays HEADLAMP OUT, ensure ignition switch is off.
- Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) Red connector. BCM is located behind right side kick panel. Check connector condition, and clean or repair connector as necessary. Using DRB-II in ohmmeter mode, check resistance on terminal No. 16 (Orange/Light Green wire) of BCM Red connector.
- If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Orange/Light Green wire. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace BCM. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
