Test 54A - Right Taillight Out
NOTE:

- Check left taillights. If left taillights are off, go to TEST 55A. If left taillights are on, inspect for faulty right taillight bulb. Replace bulb as necessary. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If bulb is okay, inspect bulb socket. Repair bulb socket as necessary. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
- If bulb socket is okay, turn headlights on. Using DRB-II in voltmeter mode, check voltage of Black/Red wire terminal in bulb socket. If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair open Black wire between ground and bulb socket. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
- If DRB-II displays less than 10 volts, disconnect light outage module 14-pin connector. See Figure . Check connector condition, and clean or repair connector as necessary. Connect jumper wire between terminal No. 12 (Black/Yellow wire) and terminal No. 13 (Black/Red wire) of light outage module 14-pin connector.
- Check taillights. If right taillights are on, replace light outage module. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If right taillights are off, repair open in Black/Red wire between bulb socket and light outage module connector. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
