Test 60A - Headlight Door System
NOTE:

- Ensure headlight doors are closed. Turn headlight delay system off. If headlight doors are open, close doors using manual override hand-wheel located behind front grille. If headlight doors are closed, turn ignition on (engine off). Turn headlights on.
- If headlights are off, check headlight circuit and repair as necessary. If headlights are on, check headlight doors. If headlight doors are closed, go to TEST 60B. If headlight doors are open, turn headlights off.
- Check headlight doors. If headlight doors are open, check headlights. If headlights are off, go to TEST 64A . If headlights are still on, check headlight circuit and repair as necessary.
- If headlight doors closed, put optical horn and headlight dimmer switch (multifunction control lever on steering column) in high beam position. Check headlight doors. If headlight doors are closed, go to TEST 65A. If headlight doors are open, check high beam headlights.
- If high beam headlights are off, check high beam circuit and repair as necessary. If high beam headlights are on, system is functioning correctly. Recheck system for intermittent problem. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
