Test 155A - No Response From Pcm

NOTE: Perform TEST 141A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring schematics, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  in this article. Perform TEST VER-3A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM), located below air cleaner at right front corner of engine compartment. Ensure connector is clean and undamaged. Go to next step.
  2. Connect a jumper wire between terminal No. 59 (Violet/Brown wire) on PCM connector and ground. Using scan tool, perform CCD bus test. If scan tool does not show bus short to ground, repair open Violet/Brown wire. If scan tool shows a short to ground, go to next step.
  3. Remove jumper and connect a jumper between terminal No. 60 (White/Black wire) on PCM connector and ground. Using scan tool, perform CCD bus test. If scan tool does not show bus short to ground, repair open White/Black wire. If scan tool shows a short to ground, replace PCM.
