Test 97A - Left Front Door Lock Problem

NOTE: Perform TEST 95A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Drive vehicle to update OTIS and perform TEST VER-1 - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
  1. Gain access to Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. See Figure . Disconnect RKE module Black connector. Go to next step.
  2. Connect jumper wire between terminals "G" (Pink/Black wire) and "H" (Black wire) on RKE module Black connector. Remove key from ignition switch. Depress left front door lock switch to LOCK position. If left front door lock operates, replace RKE module. If left front door lock does not operate, repair open Black wire.
