Test 99A - All Doors (Except Left Front) Fail To Lock & Unlock
NOTE:
Perform TEST 95A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
and WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Drive vehicle to update OTIS and perform TEST VER-1 - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE
after each repair.
- Remove door unlock relay from junction block. See Figure . Junction block is located behind end cover, on left side of instrument panel. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, measure resistance at terminal "A" (Pink/Black wire) on door unlock relay socket. If resistance is 10 ohms or greater, repair open Pink/Black wire. If resistance is less than 10 ohms, go to next step.
- Measure resistance at terminals "D" (Black wire) and "E" (Black wire) on door unlock relay socket. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater in either wire, repair appropriate open Black wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace unlock relay.
