Lift Switch Test

  1. Remove control switch from trim panel. Using ohmmeter, check continuity of switch. See MASTER WINDOW SWITCH CONTINUITY TABLE  or DOOR SWITCH CONTINUITY TABLE  and Fig 1 . Replace appropriate switch as necessary if switch continuity is not as specified.
  2. Vehicle is equipped with an Auto Down feature. Driver's window can be lowered without having to hold the switch in the down position. Auto Down feature can be activated by pressing down switch past the first detent (Stop).
  3. To test Auto Down feature, operate switch in normal up and down mode. If window operates properly in normal mode, but does not operate in Auto Down mode, replace switch.

Driver's UP Pins 5 & 11 Pins 8 & 10
Right Front UP Pins 5 & 6; Pins 7 & 8
Left Rear UP Pins 3 & 8; Pins 4 & 5
Right Rear UP Pins 2 & 5; Pins 8 & 9
Driver's DOWN Pins 5 & 10; Pins 8 & 11
Right Front DOWN Pins 5 & 7; Pins 6 & 8
Left Rear DOWN Pins 3 & 5; Pins 4 & 8
