Test 36C - Repairing Left Front Door Lock Problem

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector.
  1. Gain access to Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. See Figure . Disconnect RKE module Black connector. Go to next step.
  2. Connect jumper wire between RKE module Black connector terminals "G" (Pink/Black wire) and "H" (Black wire). Remove key from ignition switch. Depress left front door lock switch to LOCK position. If left front door lock operates, replace RKE module. If left front door lock does not operate, repair open Black wire.
