Test 36F - All Doors (Except Left Front) Fail To Lock

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
  1. Remove key from ignition switch. Remove door lock relay from junction block. See Figure . Junction block is located behind end cover, on left side of instrument panel. Go to next step.
  2. Using DRB in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of door lock relay connector terminal "E" (Black wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Black wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  3. Using DRB in voltmeter mode, check voltage on door lock relay connector terminal "C" (Orange/White wire). Depress door lock switch to LOCK position. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Orange/White wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace door lock relay.
