Test 8D - Short To 5 Volts

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.

CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position before disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Using DRB in ohmmeter mode, check traveler module connector ground circuit. Check resistance at traveler module connector terminal No. 6 (Black/Dark Green wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire or Black/Dark Green wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace traveler module.
