VTSS Test 1B - Disarming VTSS
NOTE:
Perform VTSS TEST 1A before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER INTRODUCTION. Perform TEST VER-1A
after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
Turn ignition off. Put key in left front door and turn to UNLOCK position. Using key, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read VTSS status. If scan tool displays CURRENT MODE DISARMED, system is functioning properly. If scan tool does not display CURRENT MODE DISARMED, perform VTSS TEST 13A .
