Windshield Wiper Test 2D - Wipers Not Working At All

NOTE: Perform WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER INTRODUCTION. Perform TEST VER-1A  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Remove intermittent wiper relay from Power Distribution Center (PDC). Ensure connector is clean and not damaged. See Figure in WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2A  . Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage of intermittent relay cavity No. 13 (Pink/Violet wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2F  .
  2. Reinstall intermittent wiper relay. Locate engine 14-pin connector at BCM. See Figure in CHIME TEST 3A  . Using a jumper wire, backprobe engine 14-pin connector terminal No. 7 (Pink/Violet wire) to chassis ground. If wiper motor does not operate, go to next step. If wiper motor operates, replace BCM.
  3. Remove intermittent wiper relay from PDC. DO NOT  disconnect jumper wire. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between intermittent wiper relay cavity No. 13 (Pink/Violet wire) and chassis ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace intermittent wiper relay. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair Pink/Violet wire between engine 14-pin connector at BCM and intermittent wiper relay in PDC.
