Windshield Wiper Test 2F - Wipers Not Working At All
NOTE:
Perform WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2D
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER INTRODUCTION. Perform TEST VER-1A
after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Remove and inspect fuse No. 15 (10-amp) in junction block. See Figure in CHIME TEST 3A . If fuse is open, go to WINDSHIELD WIPER TEST 2G. If fuse is okay, go to next step.
- Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage at cavity No. 28 (Black/White wire) for fuse No. 15. See Figure in CHIME TEST 3A. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open in Black/White wire between ignition switch and junction block. If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair open in Dark Blue/Gray wire between junction block and intermittent wiper relay.
