Main Relay/Power Circuit Failure

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAM.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect ABS relay. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between chassis ground and ABS relay terminal "C" (Orange/Black wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace ABS relay. Perform TEST VER-1A. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect CAB 37-pin connector. See Figure . Inspect, clean or repair connector as necessary. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between chassis ground and CAB connector terminal No. 32 (Orange/Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Orange/Black wire. Perform TEST VER-1A. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A.
