NOTE:
For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
. For wiring diagrams, see appropriate article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE:
- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.3L
- WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.5L
- Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Remove key from ignition switch. Remove door lock relay from junction block. See Figure . Junction block is located behind end cover, on left side of instrument panel. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of door lock relay connector terminal "E" (Black wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Black wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
- Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on door lock relay connector terminal "C" (Orange/White wire). Depress door lock switch to LOCK position. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Orange/White wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace door lock relay.
