Test 17A - Courtesy Lamps Inoperative
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE:

article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Using scan tool, actuate courtesy lamps. If courtesy lamps cycle on and off, go to TEST 17C . If courtesy lamps do not cycle on and off, go to next step.
- Using scan tool, stop courtesy lamp actuation. Remove and inspect fuse No. 13 in fuse panel. See Figure. If fuse is open, go to TEST 17B. If fuse is okay, go to next step.
- Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on fuse No. 13 (Pink wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair Pink wire as necessary. If voltage is more than 10 volts, reinstall fuse and go to next step.
- Gain access to any inoperative courtesy lamps. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open in Pink wire to bulb. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Access Body Control Module (BCM), located behind right kick panel. Disconnect BCM Black connector. Check voltage on BCM Black connector terminal No. 25 (Yellow wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open in Yellow wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace BCM.
