Test 3A - No Chimes At All
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE:
Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, actuate chime test. If chime does not sound, replace Body Control Module (BCM). If chime sounds, go to next step.
- Using scan tool, stop chime test and read key in ignition status. If scan tool displays KEY IN IGN CLOSED, replace BCM. If scan tool does not display KEY IN IGN CLOSED, go to TEST 7B.
