Test 58A - Tail Lamp Out
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE:

article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect lamp outage module 5-pin connector. Check, clean and repair connections as needed. Reconnect lamp outage module 5-pin connector. Turn ignition on. If EVIC panel does not display TAIL LAMP OUT, replace lamp outage module. If EVIC panel displays TAIL LAMP OUT, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) Natural connector. Check, clean and repair connections as needed. Turn ignition off. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of BCM Natural connector terminal No. 3 (Brown/Yellow wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Brown/Yellow wire between BCM Natural connector and lamp outage module connector for short to ground. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace BCM.
