Test 82A - Both Doors Fail To Lock From One Switch
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE:

article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Gain access to right door lock switch. Leave right door lock switch connector connected. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on right door lock switch terminal No. 5 (Orange/Violet wire). Depress left power door lock switch to LOCK position. If voltage is more than 10 volts when door lock switch is depressed, replace right door lock switch. If voltage is less than 10 volts when door lock switch is depressed, go to next step.
- Gain access to left door lock switch. With left door lock switch connector connected, check voltage on left door lock switch terminal No. 1 (Orange/Violet wire). Depress left power door lock switch to LOCK position. If voltage is more than 10 volts when door lock switch is depressed, repair open Orange/Violet wire. If voltage is less than 10 volts when door lock switch is depressed, replace left door lock switch.
