Test 84A - Both Doors Fail To Unlock From One Switch
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE:

article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Gain access to right door lock switch. Leave door lock switch connector connected. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on right door lock switch terminal No. 2 (Pink/Violet wire). Depress left door lock switch to UNLOCK position. If voltage is more than 10 volts when left door lock switch is depressed, replace right door lock switch. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Gain access to left door lock switch. With door lock switch connector connected, check voltage on left door lock switch connector terminal No. 4 (Pink/Violet wire). Depress left door lock switch to UNLOCK position. If voltage is more than 10 volts when door lock switch is depressed, repair open Pink/Violet wire between right door lock switch and left door lock switch. If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace left door lock switch.
