Test 92A - Both Doors Fail To Lock From One Switch

CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.0L article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
  1. Lower both front windows. Remove key from ignition. Gain access to inoperative door lock switch. Disconnect inoperative door lock switch connector. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on inoperative door lock switch connector terminal No. 1 (Orange/Violet wire). Depress opposite door lock switch to LOCK position while observing scan tool display. If voltage is less than 9 volts when door lock switch is replaced, repair open Orange/Violet wire. If voltage is more than 9 volts, replace inoperative door lock switch.
