Test 9B - Left Turn Signal Circuit

CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS - 3.0L article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) Black connector. BCM is located behind right side kick panel. Check condition of connector and clean or repair connector as necessary. If connector is okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition on. Ensure left turn signal is on. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on BCM Black connector terminal No. 15 (Light Green wire). If scan tool displays voltage pulsing between zero and 10 volts, replace BCM. If scan tool does not display voltage pulsing between zero and 10 volts, repair open in Light Green wire.
