Steering Column: Overhaul

CAUTION: When repairing steering columns or repairing ignition switch binding problems, DO NOT remove shaft lock plate retainer, shaft lock plate, or ignition locking link. See Fig 1.

NOTE: When overhauling or repairing steering columns, refer to exploded view. See Fig 2.
