Test 100A - All Doors (Except Left Front) Fail To Lock

NOTE: For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see BODY CONTROL COMPUTER  section in this article. Perform TEST VER-1  VERIFICATION TEST after each repair.
  1. Remove key from ignition switch. Remove door lock relay from junction block. See Figure . Junction block is located behind end cover, on left side of instrument panel. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of door lock relay connector terminal "E" (Black wire). If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open Black wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  3. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on door lock relay connector terminal "C" (Orange/White wire). Depress and hold door lock switch to LOCK position. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open Orange/White wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace door lock relay.
