Test 103A - Diagnosing Wiper System Problems

NOTE: For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see BODY CONTROL COMPUTER  section in this article. Perform TEST VER-1  VERIFICATION TEST after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
  1. Diagnosis of the wiper system is separated into 8 categories. With ignition switch in ON position, operate wiper system in following modes:
    • High Speed
    • Low Speed
    • Intermittent Speed
    • Wash Mode (Wipers Off)
  2. Identify problem area(s) as listed in the following TEST 103A DIAGNOSTIC TEST DIRECTORY  table and perform indicated test(s) in order listed.
