Test 47A - Identifying Headlight System Problems (With Auto Headlight System)
NOTE:

section in this article. Perform TEST VER-1
VERIFICATION TEST after each repair.
NOTE:
Automatic (AUTO) headlight system is identified by an "A" located next to headlight switch. AUTO headlight system will operate only if headlight switch is in "A" position. headlight time delay will operate only if ignition switch is turned off while headlights are still on and are turned off within 45 seconds.
Diagnosis of the AUTO headlight system is separated into 7 separate categories. Identify problem area(s) as listed in the following TEST 47A DIAGNOSTIC DIRECTORY table and perform the indicated test(s).
