NOTE: For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see BODY CONTROL COMPUTER  section in this article. Perform TEST VER-1  VERIFICATION TEST after each repair.
  1. Remove left front door trim panel. Disconnect door lock switch connector. Using scan tool, read door lock switch voltage. If voltage is 0.2 volt or less, replace left front door lock switch. If voltage is more than 0.2 volt, go to next step.
  2. Remove right front door trim panel. Disconnect door lock switch connector. Using scan tool, read door lock switch voltage. If voltage is 0.2 volt or less, replace right front door lock switch. If voltage is more than 0.2 volt, go to next step.
  3. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located behind right kick panel. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on BCM Bone connector terminal No. 9 (Orange/Violet wire). If voltage is more than 0.2 volt, repair short to voltage in Orange/Violet wire. If voltage is 0.2 volt or less, replace BCM.
