Test 6A: Sensor Circuit
NOTE:
Perform TEST 1A: CHECKING SYSTEM FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
before proceeding. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION

- DTC may be caused by loose or corroded wheel speed sensor connections, defective wheel speed sensor or wiring circuit, or defective CAB. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Turn ignition off, then on. Using scan tool, read and record DTCs. If no sensor circuit DTC exists, go to next step. If a sensor circuit DTC exists, perform appropriate test in accordance with display on scan tool. See SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE TEST IDENTIFICATION table.SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE TEST IDENTIFICATION
Scan Tool Display Perform Test LEFT FRONT SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE TEST 6B: LEFT FRONT SENSOR CIRCUIT LEFT REAR SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE TEST 6C: LEFT REAR SENSOR CIRCUIT RIGHT FRONT SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE TEST 6D: RIGHT FRONT SENSOR CIRCUIT RIGHT REAR SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE TEST 6E: RIGHT REAR SENSOR CIRCUIT - Inspect wiring harness and connectors for each suspect wheel speed sensor for damage. Connectors for rear wheel speed sensors are located below rear seat. Repair wiring harness and connectors as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A: VERIFICATION TEST . If wiring harness and connectors are okay, go to next step.
- Wiggle wiring harness and connectors for suspect each wheel speed sensor while monitoring scan tool. If DTC returns while wiggling wiring harness and connectors, repair wiring harness and connectors as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A: VERIFICATION TEST . If DTC does not return, test is complete. Perform TEST VER-1A.
