Test 35B - Courtesy Lamp Output Failure

- IDENTIFYING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal Identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION

in this article. Perform TEST VER-1 - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE
after each repair.
- Disconnect courtesy lamp at driver's door. Remove fuse No. 13 at junction block. Using external voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 1 (Yellow wire) on courtesy lamp connector. Go to next step.
- If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair Yellow wire for short to battery voltage. If voltage is 10 volts or less, replace body control module.
