OTIS Test 4A - OTIS Mileage And Distance Function Malfunction

NOTE:
Perform OTIS TEST 1A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
. For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - BODY VERIFICATION TEST
. Drive vehicle at least 3 miles (greater than 25 MPH) to update OTIS and perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - BODY VERIFICATION TEST

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector.
- If all other OTIS functions operating properly, go to next step. If any other OTIS functions are not working, replace OTIS unit.
- Using scan tool, select engine controller. Read PCM DTCs. If any DTCs exist, go to appropriate article:
- G - TESTS W/CODES - 2.7L.
- G - TESTS W/CODES - 3.2L.
If no DTCs exist, check for correct tire size.
