Verification Test VER-1A - Body Verification Test

  1. Reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors. If BCM was replaced, program all RKE transmitters, recalibrate HVAC doors and program other options as necessary.
  2. If battery was disconnected, start engine and recalibrate HVAC doors using scan tool.
  3. Ensure ignition is on. Erase all DTCs using scan tool. Turn ignition off and wait 5 seconds. Turn ignition on and fully operate system that was malfunctioning.
  4. If system is not operating properly, go to SYSTEM ID TEST 1A  . Using scan tool, read Body DTCs. If any DTCs are present, go to SYSTEM ID TEST 1B  . If no DTCs are present, system is operating correctly and customer's complaint cannot be duplicated, repair is complete.
