Test 100A - All Doors (Except Left Front) Fail To Lock
NOTE:
Perform TEST 95A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
and WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Drive vehicle to update OTIS and perform TEST VER-1 - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE
after each repair.
- Remove key from ignition switch. Remove door lock relay from junction block. See Figure . Junction block is located behind end cover, on left side of instrument panel. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, measure resistance at terminal "E" (Black wire) on door lock relay socket. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open Black wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
- Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, measure voltage at terminal "C" (Orange/White wire) on door lock relay socket. Depress and hold door lock switch to LOCK position. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open Orange/White wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace door lock relay.
