Test 102B - Problem With Remote Keyless Entry

NOTE: Perform TEST 102A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Drive vehicle to update OTIS and perform TEST VER-1 - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
  1. Gain access to Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. See Figure . Disconnect RKE module Black connector. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, measure resistance at terminal "H" (Black wire) on RKE Black connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace RKE module. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open Black wire.
