Test 102B - Problem With Remote Keyless Entry
NOTE:
Perform TEST 102A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
and WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Drive vehicle to update OTIS and perform TEST VER-1 - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE
after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting any module connector.
- Gain access to Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. See Figure . Disconnect RKE module Black connector. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, measure resistance at terminal "H" (Black wire) on RKE Black connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace RKE module. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open Black wire.
