Test 35B - Courtesy Lamp Output Failure

NOTE: Perform SYMPTOM ID TEST 1B  - IDENTIFYING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal Identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring schematics, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  in this article. Perform TEST VER-1 - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  after each repair.
  1. Disconnect courtesy lamp at driver's door. Remove fuse No. 13 at junction block. Using external voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 1 (Yellow wire) on courtesy lamp connector. Go to next step.
  2. If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair Yellow wire for short to battery voltage. If voltage is 10 volts or less, replace body control module.
